This is a general workshop for in-service and future language teachers who want to broaden their knowledge of alternative and traditional assessment methods.
During this workshop, basic concepts on assessment, approaches and current issues in classroom testing, principles of language assessment, the design of classroom language tests, the assessment of the language micro and macro skills and alternative assessment will be covered in the light of the country’s reality. As a result, at the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to, not only expand their theoretical knowledge on the area of assessment, but also analyze the traditional assessment methods to evaluate the teaching-learning process of foreign languages for general purposes and make appropriate decisions to improve their teaching-learning process.
